A Happy Holidays poem imagining a guardian angel protecting
against an eco-holocaust:
Have
no fear of eco-holocaust!
An angel is assigned to make things right,
Poised above the heavens day and night,
Precisely placed to pinpoint what is lost.
You needn't worry – he or she will know,
Having overseen such things before
On other worlds distressed by waste or war,
Like Agttth and Wukttth, just what will work below.
In these days of joyful celebration,
Do, then, for contentment find a cause
As real as fuel-less flames or Santa Claus,
Yielding
holiday hope for Earth's salvation,
So long as angels rewrite nature’s laws!
