Each week we examine a theme from a variety of points of
view. The theme for this week as we enter the holiday season is Happy Holidays.

A Happy Holidays poem to a child, imagining a variety of
animals enjoying the holidays:
Elephants love holidays,
And camels, rhinos, sharks,
Free to play all day in
playgrounds,
Free to run in parks.
Buffaloes love holidays,
And bears and wolves and deer.
Their families get together then,
With all their loved ones near.
Triceratops love holidays,
And little girls and boys,
‘Cause that’s when they get
presents, and
Can play with their new toys!
