Sing of the New Morning of Your Life

A number poem for someone who has retired from a job in an unpleasant work environment:

Sing of the new morning of your life,

In which your labor claims its just reward!

Xylophones accompany your song,

The music of the heart that strikes a chord,

Yielding to the sheer joy of the fife!

So may such music smother soon the strife,

Ill-tempered times that will not linger long.

Xylophones heal all still-painful wrong.
