A philosophical number poem about the role of intent in
happiness:
Fulfillment is entirely up to
you.
In simply being, there’s enough
content,
Freeing all to lead a happy life.
The source of disappointment is
intent,
Yearning for far more than one need do.
For some there is much joy in
noble strife.
One would wounds heal and
shattered lives renew.
Uncouple caring from
accomplishment,
Retaining love for what is good
and true.
