Dear Subscriber:
Each week we examine a theme from a variety of points of
view. The theme for this week is portraits of women.
I welcome comments on my poems at https://nicholasgordon.blogspot.com
.
A name poem for a woman who retains her childhood grace:
Angela retains her cherub face,
Nor does she long as yet to leave her garden.
Given that in time one's tissues harden,
Even she someday will turn her age,
Leaning on love with neither shame nor rage,
And treasuring still within, her childhood grace.
