Dear Subscriber:
Each week we examine a theme from a variety of points of
view. The theme for this week is unrequited love.
I welcome comments on my poems at http://nicholasgordon.blogspot.com
.
A poem about a love unrequited from childhood:
Love me the way I've long loved you,
As long as memory.
The child next door
conceived a love
Only you will see.
Rare and wonderful
this love:
Reason not the why.
It waits
unquestioning for you,
Even till I die.
